Why I Created Video Village...

VIDEO VILLAGE is designed to be one of the most video-informative spots on the Net--because you must be educated about this unique and wonderful service. Recording your wedding through video is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Don't miss it!

Why YOU Should Video!

I'm always asking my clients this question: Why don't you want to video your wedding? The answer is always the same, "We attended a wedding and the videographer was pushy, always in your face, annoying. The lights were bright and blinding. It was frustrating. I don't want video ruining my wedding!"

Anyone who responds this way has never been in the presence of a highly skilled, experienced, and talented videographer. They must be as unobtrusive as that photographer you've hired. No one should know they're there!

When I interviewed Roy Chapman, head of WEVA International (Wedding & Event Videographers Association), he asked me a profound question. "If you had the choice of seeing your grandmother's wedding on video--or looking at her photo album--which would you prefer?" I didn't think twice.

Not long ago, I attended a wedding and was very surprised by the officiant's opening remarks. When the bride, shaking and flushed, reached the altar and her groom, their clergy looked affectionately at them and said, in effect, today is a beautiful day and I know how anxious and nervous you are. I also know that this day will end up being nothing more than a blur in your memories. And it will go by so fast--it will seem like these hours were but a minute. But just think! You have a video, and for the rest of your lives, you will be able to re-live this day. Your parents and your families will always be alive and well and with you. And think of looking at your wedding a few years from now and sharing it with your future children? (I think he was trying to say that a video is priceless.)

No words could have summed it up better. There's no reason NOT to have a video. The KEY is to find a talented, skilled, experienced videographer.
