THE VIDEOGRAPHER'S STYLE AND FOCUS (AND HOW YOU COME INTO PLAY)

Every videographer has their own style. Some won't do guest interviews unless a bride and groom request it (and I agree). I believe this to be the main reason that people complain about the videographer "being in your face." Someone who slams a microphone in your mouth and flips on the lights (the kind you see in Russian spy movies)--would make even Mother Teresa testy!

Wouldn't it be better if you appointed a close relative, who knows both families and your closest friends, to do the interviewing? Think of how comfortable everyone would be? Think of the memorable thoughts and ideas, and inspirations that would be conveyed? (And skip the rest of the guests; they're unimportant.) It's your families and closest friends who count. These are the people you want to remember forever.
